Dr. Theodore Search, Pharm. D. is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Skipta. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Ted benefited from practical pharmacy experience in both the retail and clinical settings.
During this time Ted envisioned ways to leverage emerging digital channels to enhance and subsequently transform how medical professionals communicate and collaborate. Following this vision, Ted created Skipta, which now comprises more than 30 specialized medical communities boasting over 600,000 US healthcare professionals as members. Ted is an innovation advocate, tech guru, and an expert on 'virtual professional networking.' He has been invited to speak at various conferences around the country and named amongst the 'Forty Under 40' for his achievements in social media.
Ted holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and is a board licensed Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
As President, John is principally responsible for Skipta’s business operations and influencing network growth while optimizing efficiencies to support business objectives. John brings a wealth of knowledge from various leadership positions including Director of Business Analytics Development, V.P. of New Product Development and most recently, V.P. of Product Commercialization at Adheris Health.
John has successfully launched superior digital product offerings and led efforts to eclipse strategic business goals, including facilitating the growth of a former company from $18MM to $70MM in annual revenue.
John holds a B.A. in Government from Harvard University.
Elizabeth directs the marketing, branding, and communications strategy for the company. Her role transcends corporate positioning and the subsequent sub-brand evolution for more than 30 specialized online medical communities. Elizabeth also leads member acquisition initiatives and is responsible for the general health and vibrancy of the networks’ communities.
Elizabeth has worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years in various roles including Account Management and Product Development. She has managed teams responsible for servicing projects over $80MM in annual revenue.
Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Marketing, and M.S. in Marketing Analytics from Bentley University.
As Vice President of Sales for Skipta, Matt oversees the sales team responsible for direct revenue from all Pharmaceutical and Medical Device clients. Key functions include managing the sales team, development of sales strategies and new opportunities, key account management and working closely with operations on program execution and delivery.
With over 20 years of sales and management experience, Matt has a comprehensive background in health care including working with physicians, managed care and medical device companies. Prior to joining Skipta in 2015, Matt spent the previous 10 years in the digital health space working with pharmaceutical and medical device clients on their DTC marketing efforts.
