Dr. Theodore Search, Pharm. D. is Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Skipta. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Ted benefited from practical pharmacy experience in both the retail and clinical settings.
During this time Ted envisioned ways to leverage emerging digital channels to enhance and subsequently transform how medical professionals communicate and collaborate. Following this vision, Ted created Skipta, which now comprises more than 30 specialized medical communities boasting over 200,000 US healthcare professionals as members. Ted is an innovation advocate, tech guru, and an expert on 'virtual professional networking.' He has been invited to speak at various conferences around the country and named amongst the 'Forty Under 40' for his achievements in social media.
Ted holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and is a board licensed Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
After founding a successful e-commerce business, Nick co-founded Skipta and now serves as the Chief Administrative Officer. Relying on past experience in social media, search engine optimization and database management, Nick plays a key role in member communication and community content development to increase the frequency and quality of member interactions. Nick attended Pennsylvania State University.
As President John is principally responsible for Skipta’s business operations, influencing network growth while optimizing efficiencies to support business objectives. John brings a wealth of knowledge from various leadership positions including Director of Business Analytics Development, V.P. of New Product Development and most recently, V.P. of Product Commercialization at Adheris.
John has successfully launched superior digital product offerings and led efforts to eclipse strategic business goals, including facilitating the growth of a former company from $18MM to $70MM in annual revenue. John holds a B.A. in Government from Harvard University.
Sreeni is the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for conceptualizing and executing the organization’s strategic vision across technology platforms. He brings over 20 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and deep expertise in building out Social Networking frameworks. Further Sreeni is well versed in Customer Service Systems, Sales Force Automation, Mobile Architecture and Enterprise Social Technology.
Sreeni is also the Chief Engineer and CEO of TechO2. Prior to joining Skipta, Sreeni has held executive positions including serving as Vice President of IT for Talk America, etc. Sreeni was responsible for architecting early versions of EZPass Support Systems in North America and has incubated several startups ranging from Social Commerce, Social Marketing, and Biotech. Sreeni holds a Masters degree in Computer Applications from Andhra University and MBA in Technology and eBusiness from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Jeff guides strategy and business development efforts for Skipta as VP, Operations. He has a passion for interpreting data and understanding complex market trends to structure and commercialize new products and innovative solutions. He architects the vision behind new product development and also manages strategic partner and client relations.
Prior to joining Skipta, Jeff has spent more than 8 years in the healthcare industry launching innovative products aimed at improving physician day-to-day care and patient health experience. This includes leading a $2MM new product line integrating leading Electronic Health Record companies for the delivery of physician and patient education at the point of care. Jeff holds a B.S in Political Science from Northeastern University.
Elizabeth directs the marketing, branding, and communications strategy for the company. Her role transcends corporate positioning and the subsequent sub-brand evolution for more than 30 specialized online medical communities. Elizabeth also leads member acquisition initiatives and is responsible for the general health and vibrancy of the networks’ communities.
Elizabeth has worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years in various roles including Account Management and Product Development. She has managed teams responsible for servicing projects over $80MM in annual revenue. Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Marketing, and M.S. in Marketing Analytics from Bentley University.
As Vice President of Sales for Skipta, Matt oversees the sales team responsible for direct revenue from all Pharmaceutical and Medical Device clients. Key functions include managing the sales team, development of sales strategies and new opportunities, key account management and working closely with operations on program execution and delivery.
With over 20 years of sales and management experience, Matt has a comprehensive background in health care including working with physicians, managed care and medical device companies. Prior to joining Skipta in 2015, Matt spent the previous 10 years in the digital health space working with pharmaceutical and medical device clients on their DTC marketing efforts.
Timothy Search R.Ph. is the President MediMedia Pharma Solutions, an ICON plc Company, responsible for the overall strategic direction, business development, and financial success of The Company. He has 32 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical publishing, and healthcare communications, including 15 years with MediMedia, serving as a a Partner in Stezzi Communications and a Partner in BioCommunications, Inc. He is the co-founder of several publication titles in the healthcare market.
Tim earned holds a pharmacy degree from The Rutgers College of Pharmacy in New Jersey.
Dennis DiVenuta has maintained a law practice dedicated to healthcare clients for 27 years with a primary focus on regulatory compliance and legal risk aversion strategies. Dennis spent seven years as Corporate General Counsel for Computer Horizons, Inc., a public company with a prime focus on technology solutions in the financial services and healthcare verticals. He also served as CEO for two healthcare technology growth companies before becoming Senior Vice President for Innovation at MediMedia. Dennis currently serves as the Senior VP, Human Resources and Legal Affairs for PSKW.
Steven P. Simcox serves as Managing Partner for HealthTalker, LLC, the innovators in Word of Mouth marketing in healthcare, serving the pharmaceutical, public health and provider markets. HealthTalker engages consumers to spread the word about the causes, conditions and treatment options they care about.
Steve served as CEO of MediMedia for 14 years and as non-executive Vice Chairman of MediMedia, LLC from 2011 to 2015. MediMedia is a leading provider of information and services that inform consumer and professional healthcare decision makers.
Mr. Simcox has significant Private Equity and Strategic transaction experience as a CEO in strategic sales, private equity purchases and divestitures through his experiences at MediMedia. These included: a sale to strategic buyer Vivendi in 1999, a $600m leveraged buyout with private equity partners including the Carlyle Group, Cinven Partners, and APAX Partners, a sale of MediMedia’s international businesses to Reed Elsevier and UBM for over $600m and a private equity led buyout of MediMedia’s US Business with Vestar Capital Partners for $625m. He also participated in divestiture transactions of MediMedia Information Technologies to Susquehanna Growth Equity, LLC (SGE) and MediMedia’s Animal Health Division, Vetstreet to strategic buyer VCA in an all cash sale valued at $146m and in excess of 28x EBITDA.

Dr. Ghosh is the CEO and Founder of Tiger Hill Capital. He is based in London and leads the firm’s research and investment activities as well as spearheading the Healthcare platform. Dr. Ghosh is a well-known figure in the investment community and manages Tiger Hill’s relationships with sovereign investors and large private business groups. Prior to Tiger Hill Capital, Dr. Ghosh was the Head of Strategy and Macroeconomics at Mubadala, a $60Bn direct investment company of the Abu Dhabi government. He was responsible for portfolio strategy, incubation of new investment areas, and corporate business development. Earlier in his investment career, Dr. Ghosh was a Senior Investment Advisor at Bridgewater Associates (Westport, US), the largest Global Macro hedge fund in the world with over $100Bn assets under management. Dr. Ghosh began his career at McKinsey and Company where he was an Associate Partner in the New York Office and advised numerous healthcare, financial services and private equity clients.. Dr. Ghosh holds a PhD and MSCEP in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a M.Eng. and MA in Natural Sciences from Trinity College, Cambridge University.
Olivier Jarry is a Partner of Tiger Hill Capital Healthcare. In his 30-year tenure in the Healthcare, Nutrition and Consulting industries, Olivier Jarry has created sustainable, profitable growth for numerous organizations, organically and inorganically. His passion is enabling market access and adherence to critical medicines in developed and emerging markets. Oliver has served numerous large pharmacos and specialties medicines companies on market access and is Board member of Fit4D, an innovative Diabetes company. Olivier has assembled successful commercial teams around the world and has led value-added negotiations of acquisitions (up to USD 1.1 billion), divestitures and alliances, as well as more than 16 post-merger integration projects in Canada, the USA, Brazil, Argentina, France, Poland, Hungary, etc.
In previous roles, Oliver coordinated the transformation of the Emerging Markets division at Bristol-Myers Squibb, accelerating the adaptation to fast changing environments, and enhancing the Market Access function. At Bayer, Olivier has led the Bayer Diabetes Care business unit to increased market shares in most countries, launching 5 innovative products in 2009 and 2010, which have been acclaimed in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, among other media.
In his 9 years at Novartis, he has re-launched the strategic plan process for Novartis Consumer Health, managed M&A and BD&L across several business units, developed Infant Nutrition in Latin America and in Asia, launched a for-profit access-to-medicines business in India, grown the European business of Novartis Vaccines and contributed to address the 2009 H1N1 pandemic. Prior to Novartis, Olivier spent 5 years at Danone leading Strategy and M&A for the beverages division.
Olivier began his career with Accenture and spent over a decade designing and conducting major enterprise transformation programs with more than 60 companies in durable and consumer goods, leading a dozen pre-acquisition and post-merger integration projects.
Olivier has two engineering degrees, in Aerospace from ÉcoleCentrale de Paris and in Defense Systems from DélégationGénérale pour l’Armement (French Department of Defense) and a TRIUM EMBA. He is based in Conneticut, US.
Michele McHugh-Mazzatta is a Partner of Tiger Hill Capital Healthcare and brings over 26 years of diverse pharmaceutical and life science industry experience to THC. Over two decades of her career were spent with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) building expertise in functional areas such as sales, marketing, contract management, technology, market development, internal trade and sales operations. Throughout her career, Michele was recognized as one of GSK’s highest performing Vice President’s in Sales and Management of Branded Products. In particular, she has strong product and physician knowledge within the Gastroenterology specialty due to her experience in promoting brands such as Tagamet and Zantac.
Michele also managed GSK external partnerships, including but not limited to BMS, PDI, Bayer, ID Biomedical, PBM’s, Wholesalers, distributors, and other trade relation partners. During her tenure, she led the development and implementation of a new vaccine direct ordering and distribution system for GSK vaccine products. The second day direct vaccine ordering was in operation, 29M of flu sales were pre-booked and 1M of vaccine products were sold.
Michele later founded Four M Capital LLC. In this role, clients ranged from mid-size pharmaceutical and e-prescribing companies to early stage businesses within biotechnology and software solution sectors. Michele provided alternate selling solutions and brand retention strategies to mid- and large-market pharmaceutical and biotech firms. She has consulted with entrepreneurs and emerging technology firms to create innovative business models in the areas of telemedicine, verified social-media networks for healthcare professionals, and pharmaceutical marketing integration within ERx platforms. Michele has been a senior leadership member for large and early stage businesses where she has built and managed commercial teams on a regional and national scale, developed and implemented operational best practices and lead initiatives for some of the most strategic corporate brand and manufacturing objectives.
Michele holds a BS degree in Nutrition, and a certificate in Management, both from Rutgers University in NJ. She is based in New Jersey (US) where she currently supports the community through fundraising for the Hunterdon Art Museum, the Clinton Township Foundation for Educational Excellence. She serves as coach for various community youth sports teams in the NJ area.
